Investors construct affordable dwellings in the Voxtrup area, developing 18 new apartments for residents.
In an exciting development for the city of Osnabrück, two new multi-family homes are under construction in the Steiniger Heide building area, thanks to funding from the NBank. These homes, designed by Meller architects Robin and Rolf Beele, will offer 18 apartments suitable for households of one to four people.
The houses will be built to the EH 40 EE standard in hybrid construction, ensuring energy efficiency and comfort with underfloor heating and electric roller shutters. In addition, there will be two barrier-free apartments with larger movement areas on the ground floor, catering to the needs of those with mobility challenges.
Eligibility for these apartments is based on income, with single persons earning a gross income of 40,000 euros, couples 53,800 euros, three-person families 67,500 euros, and four-person families 81,000 euros eligible. A housing entitlement certificate is required for eligibility, and these can now be applied for via the city's service portal or directly at the housing promotion office in Bierstraße 32.
To determine eligibility and find the most suitable apartment size based on income, residents can use the municipal online calculator available on www.osnabrueck.de/wohnraumfoerderung. For precise eligibility income brackets, application forms, and procedures, residents are advised to contact the Osnabrück municipal housing office (Wohnungsamt Osnabrück) or local housing cooperatives.
The current starting rent for an apartment is 7.50 euros per square meter of living space per month. The apartments will range in size, with 1-room apartments approximately 49 square meters, 2-room apartments approximately 59 square meters, and 3-room apartments approximately 75 or 85 square meters.
Furthermore, sufficient parking facilities for E-bikes and bicycles are planned to ensure environmentally-friendly transportation options are accommodated.
This construction project promotes the new construction of affordable housing with interest-free loans of up to 75% of the total costs. The city of Osnabrück has restructured, with housing entitlement certificates now issued by the housing promotion office instead of the department of social affairs in Stadthaus 2. All matters related to housing, rent, or the promotion of rental housing are handled in the building of the team Wohnraum.
For those interested in these affordable housing opportunities, it is recommended to consult official Osnabrück city resources or websites related to social and middle-income housing programs for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
The new multi-family homes, being constructed in Osnabrück's Steiniger Heide building area, will provide affordably priced apartments for various-sized households. These homes, financed by NBank, offer energy-efficient living spaces and are suitable for households of one to four people. Investing in real-estate, this construction project promotes the development of affordable housing, with eligible residents able to apply for a housing entitlement certificate via the city's service portal or directly at the housing promotion office.
