IPGL Starts New Road Crossing in Bergisch Gladbach to Enhance Mobility
IPGL, under the leadership of Dr. Sebastian Michalsky, is delighted to commence work on a new news crossing in Bergisch Gladbach. This project aims to enhance accessibility and mobility in the city.
The new news crossing will span from the Britannia hut, over the S-Bahn track, to the triangle junction. It will feature connections to the Kalkstraße, among other routes. This measure is necessitated by the planned closure of the railway crossing at Tannenbergstraße, which has become obsolete due to increased S-Bahn operations.
IPGL is collaborating closely with local politics, administration, Deutsche Bahn, and go.Rheinland to ensure the successful implementation of the news crossing. This project is a significant milestone in the development of Bergisch Gladbach's traffic infrastructure, closely linked to the planned expansion of the S11. The city, represented by First Deputy Mayor Ragnar Migenda, views the new news crossing as a sustainable improvement to urban mobility, providing a high-performance solution for both car and heavy traffic.
IPGL will next tender the planning services for this project. The new news crossing is set to improve mobility and accessibility in Bergisch Gladbach, contributing to the city's ongoing development.
