Jakob Haesler, a well-respected figure in the international field, has been tapped to lead the consulting division of Forvis Mazars Group as its Global Head. This megawatt auditing and advisory firm made the announcement on a bustling Wednesday, with the changes set to take effect on January 1, 2025. As part of this move, Haesler will join the elite partnership of Forvis Mazars in Germany, poised to transform the consulting sector into a cornerstone of the global network.

Haesler will team up closely with the leadership team of network partner Forvis Mazars LLP in the US, while actively participating in multi-industry business growth within Germany's Forvis Mazars partnership.

Forvis Mazars: Amplifying its Might with Haesler's Connections

Haesler's professional journey began with a 10-year stint at McKinsey, where he worked in Berlin and Paris, and was a member of the European Retail Banking Leadership Team. After his departure from McKinsey, he co-founded the thriving start-up, "Tinyclues," which he eventually sold in 2023. Since 2012, Haesler has served as a senior advisor to Forvis Mazars on strategy, technology, and transformation, bringing invaluable insights to the German consulting practice that the firm is now looking to leverage.

In the words of Christoph Regierer, CEO of Forvis Mazars in Germany, "Our consulting practice in Germany is set to experience significant growth thanks to Haesler's extensive network and international expertise."

Haesler, besides his standing in the corporate world, is also a prominent voice in discussions on European autonomy, global trade matters, and other relevant international topics[2][3][4]. These skills and insights should serve Forvis Mazars Group well as it assists businesses in navigating complex global environments. As of January 1, 2025, Haesler will leave his role as an external advisor to join hands with the Forvis Mazars family, ready to steer the consulting ship towards new horizons.
