New Leadership at Platzl Hotels Munich

Janis Gromovs has taken on the role of Head of Sales & Marketing at Platzl Hotels Munich, bringing with him over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Gromovs, who graduated from Dual University Ravensburg with a degree in hotel management, began his career at Hilton Sales Worldwide in Frankfurt. He later held managerial sales positions at Rilano Group GmbH before joining Supreme Group in Munich as Sales & Project Manager. His tenure at Supreme Group was followed by a stint as Director of Sales & Marketing at Pullman Munich Hotel, where he led the sales team for over three years and shaped strategic market positioning.

At Platzl Hotels, Gromovs leads the entire Sales & Marketing division, which serves two hotels—Platzl Hotel am Platzl and Marias Platzl am Mariahilfplatz—and a varied gastronomy offering including restaurants like Pfistermühle and several traditional Bavarian Wirtshäuser (inns).

Gromovs' focus at Platzl Hotels will be on hotel brand positioning, business development, and event management. His expertise in key account management, customer loyalty, and project support is expected to drive growth and success for the company.
