Job Posting: Political Program Coordinator
The political landscape is heating up, and Swing Left is looking for a dedicated individual to join their team as a Political Program Manager. This full-time, remote role, based in the United States with a strong preference for candidates based in Washington, DC, is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for politics and a knack for collaboration.
The Political Program Manager will play a crucial role in supporting Swing Left's political priorities. Key responsibilities include managing cross-functional collaboration, supporting campaign relationships, and coordinating financial and volunteer support to win key competitive races.
The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in and alignment with Swing Left’s mission, excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills, keen attention to detail, and proficiency with tools such as Google Suite, Slack, Asana, and Zoom. Quick adaptability to new systems is also essential.
In this role, you will collaborate with organizing teams and external partners to align volunteer activities with campaign needs, maintain relationships with targeted campaigns, coordinate PAC contributions with compliance and development teams, lead cross-functional internal coordination, support political event planning, and produce campaign plans and materials.
Due to the requirements of this role, candidates must be available and able to travel (almost entirely within DC, and occasionally elsewhere in the US for key events). Candidates must also have at least three years of full-time professional experience, previous political campaign experience, including at least one cycle of senior campaign staff experience as a campaign manager or field director, and at least one cycle of organizing experience is strongly preferred.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $71,000 - $76,000/year, an annual cost of living compensation increase, and a retirement (401k) plan. Health and dependent care FSA accounts, professional development, remote work, and technology stipends are also provided. Medical, dental, and vision insurance is fully covered for employees and 50% for dependents.
