JP Morgan Launches DIY Investment Platform in UK This November
JP Morgan is set to launch a new DIY investment platform, Yahoo Finance Personal Investing, in the UK this November. The platform will incorporate the Nutmeg business, with the Nutmeg brand being retired.
The new platform will initially offer managed investments, pensions, Isas, and financial planning tools. Minimum investments will vary, with £500 required for stocks and shares Isas, £100 for lifetime Isas and junior Isas, and £10,000 for income-focused investments. From 2026, investors will be able to buy and sell individual shares and bonds on the platform.
The platform will allow investors to buy and sell shares, funds, bonds, and other financial assets. Relationship managers will be available for clients with more than £250,000 invested, offering face-to-face professional advice. The service will be available through the Chase current account app and as a standalone product.
Mark O'Donovan, head of international consumer banking at JP Morgan Chase, stated that the UK is a leading market for digital financial services adoption.
The new JP Morgan Personal Investing platform will provide a range of investment options and professional advice for clients. With the incorporation of the Nutmeg business, the platform aims to strengthen JP Morgan's digital offerings in the UK.
