Karl Lagerfeld's jewelry estate located near Paris was auctioned off for under 5 million euros on Tuesday.

In the picturesque town of Louveciennes, located just fifteen kilometers from Paris, the Domaine de Voisins, once the residence of the late fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld, has been sold at auction. The sale, announced by the Paris Notaries Services on their Facebook page, took place on July 1st, 2022, marking an important transition of ownership after Lagerfeld's death.

The main villa, spanning 600 square meters, is situated within a 2-hectare wooded park. The property, now known as the "villa outside of Paris," has been entirely renovated to provide luxurious comforts. The villa comprises three reception rooms, a large modern kitchen, seven bedrooms, and four bathrooms. The basement is entirely finished and enhanced, while the pool house includes a kitchen, living room, bedroom, shower room, and has large glass windows overlooking the pool.

Before Lagerfeld, the house belonged to the poet Charles Marie René Leconte, known as Leconte de Lisle, who died in 1894. The villa's high-end finishes, including quality parquet floors, high ceiling height, and an elevator serving all floors and the basement, are reminiscent of its neo-classical bourgeois origins.

As of mid-2025, specific detailed public information about the current ownership or any new developments at the estate after the sale is not widely documented. The property continues to symbolize Lagerfeld's connection to Louveciennes, but further specifics about its current use or owners are not available from the present information.

The Domaine de Voisins is not a thermal leak, as it is rated D on the Energy Performance Diagnosis (DPE). The house was sold for €4,685,000, slightly more than its asking price of €4,635,000, according to Immo Notaires Enchéres website. An overbid is possible within the next ten days for the Domaine de Voisins.

The estate also includes two guest houses, a caretaker's house, a tennis court, and additional features such as a swimming pool and a pool house with a sauna. This Monday, property owners in Paris may avoid a €150 fine for undeclared properties.
