Krasnodar Region to Host Bioprom Forum Permanently, Boosting Biotechnology
The Krasnodar region, renowned for its modern infrastructure and scientific prowess, has signed an agreement to host the International 'Bioprom' Forum on a permanent basis. This move aims to boost biotechnology development and related industries in the region.
The forum, set to take place in Gelendzhik in 2025, will showcase innovations from over 100 enterprises in four key areas: 'Biotechmed', 'Cosmetic Component', 'Innofood', and 'Ecobio'. This year's event will feature 17 regional enterprises presenting their developments in medicine, pharmaceuticals, food industry, and agrobiotechnology.
The agreement, signed by Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov, Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, and General Director Ekaterina Egorycheva, seeks to foster growth in biotechnological, chemical, pharmaceutical, medical, cosmetic, and mechanical engineering industries. By hosting the forum permanently, the Krasnodar region expects to stimulate bioproduct exports and facilitate technology exchange between Russian and foreign companies.
