The automotive market in India is buzzing with excitement as two new models have been unveiled: the 2025 Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition and the Triumph Thruxton 400.

2025 Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition

Bookings for the all-black themed variant of the subcompact SUV, the 2025 Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition, are now open at authorized dealerships across the country for a token amount of ₹11,000. The Kuro Edition will be available across all engine and transmission options, with the base price starting at ₹8.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Triumph Thruxton 400

Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the new Thruxton 400, a cafe racer that offers a niche, stylish option in the 400cc segment. Positioned above the Scrambler 400 X in Triumph's Indian lineup, the Thruxton 400 boasts a price tag of approximately ₹2.74 lakh (ex-showroom).

Key features of the Thruxton 400 include a 398cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC single-cylinder engine tuned to deliver about 41.4 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 37.5 Nm torque at 7,500 rpm. The bike also comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox with slipper and assist clutch, upgraded chassis with a shorter wheelbase, USD front forks with 135 mm travel, rear monoshock with 130 mm travel, disc brakes front and rear with dual-channel ABS, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The Thruxton 400's design is inspired by the Thruxton 1200, featuring a retro-styled semi-fairing, clip-on handlebars, bar-end mirrors, a sculpted slim fuel tank, and a distinct tail lamp design. The bike is available in four colour combinations, including Lava Red Gloss and Aluminum Silver, Pearl Metallic White and Storm Grey, Metallic Racing Yellow with Aluminum Silver, and Phantom Black with Aluminum Silver.

Mercedes-Benz Product Offensive

Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz is gearing up for a global product offensive, aiming to bring as many as 30 models to the market by 2027.
