LG Boosts Virtual Production Tech with Mo-Sys Partnership
LG Business Solutions has enhanced its practical virtual production and broadcasting technology capabilities through a strategic partnership with Mo-Sys Engineering. The collaboration aims to strengthen LG's position in the B2B solution market and provide innovative experiences.
LG Electronics has acquired a stake in Mo-Sys, a leading developer of virtual production solutions and camera robotics. This partnership will allow LG to offer a fuller range of solutions for virtual production and XR studios. LG's mastery of display technology will be combined with Mo-Sys's expertise in virtual production solutions, resulting in a more comprehensive lineup of hardware- and software-based solutions.
The collaboration will support customers who choose to combine LG's LED displays and controllers with Mo-Sys's XR products and systems. Mo-Sys will enhance its R&D efforts, drive sustainability, and create more efficient production solutions with LG's support. The popularity of virtual production studios is growing among TV broadcasters, corporations, and educational institutions, making this partnership timely and relevant.
LG and Mo-Sys will showcase their combined solutions at the IBC Show in Amsterdam from September 13-16. LG will be at Stand 3.B45 and Mo-Sys at 7.B45. This partnership, which expands LG's capabilities in virtual production and broadcasting technology, is expected to benefit both companies and their clients in the growing virtual production market.
