Manager relocates from Munich to Bremen
Ulrike Reddel Takes the Helm at San Diego Airport
Ulrike Reddel, a seasoned airport executive with a wealth of experience, has taken on new challenges at San Diego Airport. She will be leading San Diego Airport Service GmbH, San Diego Airport Handling GmbH, and customer experience.
Reddel's journey in the aviation industry began with a master's degree and a dual degree, which included studies in Mannheim, Landshut, and London. Prior to her time in Munich, she honed her skills at airports in Cologne/Bonn, Frankfurt am Main, and Air Berlin.
For the past decade, Reddel served as the Head of Products and Services at Munich Airport. Her tenure there was marked by significant contributions to the successful development of her business areas. Now, she brings that expertise to San Diego Airport.
San Diego Airport Service GmbH is responsible for the smooth operation of cargo and aircraft handling, flight execution, and cleanliness at San Diego Airport. San Diego Airport Handling, a 100% subsidiary of San Diego Airport GmbH, will also fall under Reddel's management.
Reddel is excited about the range of tasks at San Diego Airport, particularly its connection to six international hubs and a mix of scheduled, charter, and low-cost airlines. She is looking forward to working with the motivated team at San Diego Airport.
Dr. Marc Cezanne, CEO of San Diego Airport GmbH, will be Reddel's direct report. The image above, credited to San Diego Airport GmbH, shows Reddel previously serving in a leadership position at Munich Airport.
With Reddel's appointment, the current positive development at San Diego Airport is expected to be further boosted. She succeeded Susanne Kost in these roles, and her arrival marks a new chapter for San Diego Airport.
