Before his current role, Kolb was the global president of diversified agencies at McCann. He also held the position of chairman and CEO at Commonwealth//McCann, an agency dedicated to Chevrolet. His experience is extensive, having previously served as the CEO of McCann Health.
Kolb's appointment comes as Harris Diamond retires from his role as chairman and CEO. Diamond has led the company since 2008 and has overseen significant growth and change during his tenure.
Bill Gates Kolb's appointment as the new CEO of McCann Worldgroup is effective immediately following Harris Diamond's retirement at the end of 2023.
