MGMG Appoints Sinan Heesen as New KFH Caterer After Disagreement
Marketing Gesellschaft Moenchengladbach GmbH (MGMG) has appointed Sinan Heesen as the new caterer for the Kaiser-Friedrich-Hall (KFH). Heesen, known for his innovative approach, will also move his office into the hall's business premises. This decision follows a disagreement between the previous planned caterers, Anthony Hopkins, Dr. Behrus Salehin, and Patrick Herrmann, and MGMG over the catering concept and financing.
Heesen brings extensive experience to the role, having previously transformed the TIG in Moenchengladbach into an attractive event location. He was selected from 25 applicants through an Europe-wide tender process. Heesen will not only manage the catering but also rebuild and equip the restaurant and society rooms at his own expense, activating the hall's high-quality event potential.
The previous team of Hopkins, Salehin, and Herrmann had planned to take on the catering responsibility but parted ways due to disagreements on the management and organization of the catering services. Anthony Hopkins has since moved on to become the culinary director at the Grandhotel Petersberg.
A contract has been signed, and Sinan Heesen's catering services will commence at the beginning of 2020. His appointment is expected to enhance the Kaiser-Friedrich-Hall's event offerings, attracting more visitors and boosting the local economy.
