The impact of the collision caused the Opel to spin to the right against the guardrail, cross the road, and hit the concrete barrier. Debris from the Opel ended up on the opposite lane, striking a Seat driven by a 42-year-old from Mönchengladbach.

Emergency services responded promptly, and both drivers, the 29-year-old and the 66-year-old, were transported to nearby hospitals following the collision. As of the latest updates, no further details about their conditions have been provided.
