New Appointments to the SEI Board: Karin Risi and Tom Naratil Take Positions
SEI Strengthens Board with New Appointments
SEI, a leading provider of innovative enterprise solutions, has bolstered its Board of Directors with the addition of two seasoned industry veterans. Karin Risi and Tom Naratil, both bringing extensive experience in wealth management and strategic leadership, have joined the Board as of July 22, 2025.
Karin Risi, with over 30 years of experience at Vanguard, oversaw the $2.5 trillion Personal Investor and Wealth Management sectors. She was a key member of the executive team responsible for enterprise strategy, global investment product development, marketing, and communications. Risi also led the launch of Vanguard’s hybrid advisory platform. In her new role at SEI, she will serve on the Compensation and Nominating & Governance Committees.
Risi, who is also an Independent Director for HarbourVest Partners and involved with various nonprofit organizations, sees SEI’s ecosystem and capabilities as a means to drive meaningful impact and empower investors. She believes that seismic shifts in the industry offer opportunities for growth.
Tom Naratil, a former UBS wealth management executive, also joins SEI’s Board. With a lengthy career at UBS, where he held numerous leadership positions, Naratil brings additional expertise in wealth management and regulatory matters. At SEI, he will serve on the Audit and Legal & Regulatory Oversight Committees. Naratil is excited to support SEI's Executive Chairman, Alfred P. West, Jr., CEO Ryan Hicke, and the SEI board in delivering sustained growth for SEI's stakeholders and shareholders.
The appointments of Risi and Naratil complement SEI’s focus on transformation and long-term growth in the asset and wealth management industry. They join Risi on SEI’s Board, along with CEO Ryan Hicke, and other current directors.
SEI continues to redefine enterprise solutions with scale and flexibility to better meet client needs. The company has a long track record of embracing innovation and delivering long-term value.
Alfred P. West, Jr., expresses gratitude to Stephanie Miller for her services on SEI's Board. Miller has resigned to pursue a leadership role in the industry.
With these new appointments, SEI strengthens its board by adding extensive leadership and strategic insight in wealth management, furthering the company’s commitment to innovation and adapting to the rapidly changing dynamics of the asset and wealth management industry.
