Organic Fertilizer Plant Launched in Yaroslavskaya, Outperforming Competitors
Yaroslavskaya, Russia, recently witnessed the opening of an organic fertilizer production facility. boasting innovative products that have managed to outperform international counterparts in some aspects.
Nestled on the site of a former repair shop, the plant has undergone significant modernization and is equipped with Russian-made machinery. This 'green' chemistry plant ensures no harmful emissions, waste-free production, and the absence of high temperatures or alkalis.
Anton Buto, the founder of the organic fertilizer company, underscores the environmental advantages of the facility: "Our production process promotes a waste-free environment, with no high temperatures or alkalis. It's the epitome of 'green' chemistry."
The company's organic fertilizers are produced using Siberian brown coal, employing an individual feeding system tailored to each agricultural crop. The manufacturing operations also occur in Novosibirsk and the Moscow region, with the addition of Krasnodar to its production sites.
Andrei Torgashkin, the founder of OYYO ORGANIC ENERGY, claims the company has only one significant competitor—a German firm that copied Russian specialists' technology. "Nobody in the world produces this exact product," emphatically notes Torgashkin.
With a capacity of up to 200 tons of product monthly, the plant aims to restore soil fertility, enhance crop yields, and improve plant quality across roughly 2,000 hectares. The new venture has provided employment for 58 residents of Mostovsky District, hoping to supply its products to regions within the Southern Federal District, the North Caucasus, and neighboring countries like Georgia and Armenia.
Andrey Korobka, Vice-Governor of Krasnodar Krai, has praised the potential of the enterprise, citing tests conducted on fields in the region and the Republic of Adygea that demonstrated an increase of 10 to 15% in yields.
The plant collaborates with leading Russian research institutes to share knowledge with Kuban farmers, providing them with the opportunity to learn modern technologies. As Sergei Lasunov, head of Mostovsky District, explains: "We aspire to make this platform an experimental one, allowing Kuban farmers in Mostovsky District to embrace modern technologies."
