Kuwait Enforces Fire Safety Regulations in Al-Rai Area
In a joint effort to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, the General Fire Force of Kuwait, along with the ministries of Electricity and Water, Commerce, the Public Authority for Industry, the Environment Public Authority, and the Kuwait Municipality, conducted a large-scale fire safety inspection campaign in the Al-Rai area.
The campaign, which took place on August 20, 2025, resulted in the administrative closure of 19 industrial facilities due to significant safety violations. Additionally, 56 warnings and notices were issued to other establishments for lesser infractions, allowing them time to comply with the Fire Department's safety requirements.
The inspection campaign was coordinated with several government agencies and focused on enforcing fire safety regulations in the Al-Rai area. The Al-Rai area fire prevention and safety inspection campaign aimed to maintain public safety and prevent hazards in the industrial area.
The ministries and authorities involved in the inspection campaign issued 56 warnings and notices to establishments that failed to meet the Fire Department's safety requirements. These warnings and notices were part of the campaign's efforts to encourage compliance with fire safety regulations.
