Nordhorn Seeks Team Leader for Traffic Planning/Street Construction

Nordhorn city council is seeking a Team Leader (m/f/d) for its Traffic Planning/Street Construction Department (TVOÖD 12). The ideal candidate should possess a civil engineering degree with a focus on traffic planning/street construction, or equivalent experience, along with comprehensive knowledge of relevant technical regulations and standards, and good IT skills, including MS Office and GIS. Familiarity with ORCA and Vestra is desirable.

The Team Leader will oversee a team of 8, coordinating and monitoring engineering firms, and managing planning approval and land-use planning procedures. The role involves independently developing design-ready plans for streets and traffic junctions, including infrastructure concepts for new commercial and construction areas, covering all phases of the HOAI.

Candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork skills, initiative, organisational and negotiation skills, assertiveness, and excellent communication skills. The city offers a permanent full-time position with a 39-hour work week, remuneration according to salary group 12 TVöD, attractive health management, additional occupational pension provision, flexible working hours, and a friendly working atmosphere.
