Oatly's DACH & Poland regions are headed by Griesebner and Fritz
Oatly, the popular plant-based food company, has announced some significant changes in its leadership team.
Helge Weitz has been appointed as the new President North America for Oatly, taking over from Mike Messersmith. Weitz, who has extensive experience in the food industry, will lead Oatly's business in the USA.
In a related development, Roland Griesebner and Svenja Fritz have become the new managing directors of Oatly for DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) and Poland. Both Griesebner and Fritz have been with Oatly for three years, with Griesebner previously serving as the sales director and key account manager at innocent drinks. Fritz, on the other hand, worked as a spokesperson for the Berlin Senate's economics department before joining Oatly.
Griesebner and Fritz have assumed their roles since the beginning of this year, and they are excited about the opportunity to lead Oatly's growth in their respective regions.
"I am thrilled to join Oatly and lead the team in DACH and Poland," said Griesebner. "I believe in Oatly's mission to help people live a healthier and more sustainable life, and I look forward to contributing to this mission."
Fritz echoed Griesebner's sentiments, adding, "I am proud to be a part of Oatly, and I am excited about the opportunity to lead the team in DACH and Poland. I am confident that we will continue to grow and make a positive impact in these regions."
With the new leadership in place, Oatly is poised for continued success in North America and Europe. Weitz, Griesebner, and Fritz bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their roles, and they are ready to drive Oatly's growth and mission forward.
