Oracle Red Bull Racing is forging ahead in championing women in motor sports. Recently, they've teamed up with Rokt to establish a female-led iRacing team, aptly named the Rokt Red Bull Sim Racing Team.
Annemarie D'Alessandro will be at the helm of this team, competing in major iRacing events. The car's design is the result of an all-female creative team's creativity.
Julia George, Oracle Red Bull Racing's director of partnerships, said, "Sim racing representation matters, and we're thrilled to collaborate with Rokt in bolstering female drivers and engineers. With first-rate coaching and training, this project will pave the way for more women in competitive sim racing and foster future role models in the sport."
Commencing in March, open trials will be held to select additional drivers, with the final lineup set for the summer.

Elizabeth Buchanan, chief commercial officer at Rokt, echoed George's sentiments, "We're psyched to proceed in our initiative to expand opportunities for women in sim racing. By merging Rokt's technological expertise with Oracle Red Bull Racing's motor sports leadership, we're helping female drivers refine their skills and compete on a global scale."
To mark the beginning of this virtual team, Alisha Palmowski, an official driver for Red Bull Racing Pepe Jeans Academy Programme's F1 Academy car (which Rokt partners), joined forces with Red Bull Racing to ring the opening bell at Nasdaq.
