South Hesse Police Increase Speed Checks for Traffic Safety

The traffic division of the South Hesse police headquarters has announced increased speed checks this week as part of their ongoing efforts to improve traffic safety and reduce speeding.

On Monday, March 10, the police will be focusing on several key areas. The B 45 between Rodgau and Hanau near the A3 junction, as well as the B 45 between Hanau and Dieburg between Tannenmühle roundabout and A3 highway, will be under scrutiny. Additionally, the L 3445 between Langenselbold and Neuberg at the clay pits, and the B 459 before the Geisfeld roundabout in Dreieich, will be the focus of these measures.

Tuesday, March 11, will see the checks continue with a focus on the L 3262 between Zeppelinheim and Buchschlag due to increased risk of wildlife crossings, as well as the B 448 in Obertshausen and the K 903 in Niedermittlau before the highway on-ramps. Interestingly, the B 459 in Dreieich will also be a central check point on this day.

The measures will also extend to Thursday, March 13, with the same speed checks taking place on the B 459 before the Geisfeld roundabout in Dreieich. On this day, the traffic division will also be particularly focusing on the area of a kindergarten and a retirement home on the Adolf-Reichweinstraße in Rodenbach.

Furthermore, measurements will be taken on the A45 highway in the direction of Hanau at the Pfingstweide rest area on Wednesday, March 12.

The goal of these measures is to ensure a safer driving environment and to reduce instances of speeding. The South Hesse police headquarters urges all drivers to comply with speed limits and to drive responsibly.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information about increased speed checks and their locations in South Hesse, it is recommended to check local police press releases or traffic authority websites for Hesse. These often publish daily or weekly enforcement plans listing the focus areas for speed checks.
