Ranch Spanning Nearly 1.2 Million Acres in Wyoming Now Up for Sale with a Price Tag of $22 Million
Midland Ranch, the Largest Working Ranch in the US, Hits the Market for $22 Million
The Midland Ranch, a sprawling 1.15 million-acre estate in southwest Wyoming, has been listed for sale with a price tag of $22 million. Located in Sweetwater and Sublette counties, the ranch is currently the largest working ranch on the market in the United States.
The ranch, which has been in the Arambel family for over 120 years, features a mix of deeded, leased, and BLM lands. It boasts exclusive grazing and trailing rights on nearly a million acres of BLM land, making it an ideal haven for livestock farming.
The Midland Ranch is a fully operational ecosystem, with self-reliant water resources, private river frontage, creeks, springs, and senior water rights. The summer pastures near Prospect Mountain include fisheries, expansive water rights, and rock-climbing meccas, offering a diverse range of activities for both work and leisure.
The ranch's seasonal base near Prospect Mountain includes two residences, historic buildings, and livestock facilities. The deeded land alone comprises 5,880 acres, with the remainder being leased state and federal lands.
The Midland Ranch is being sold by Court Merrigan of LandVest. Interested buyers can either purchase the entire ranch for $22 million or opt for one of the five individual units ranging from $1 million to $9.9 million. If bought separately, the individual units would total approximately $29.68 million.
The ranch is not the only high-end property on the market. Another notable listing is A Car Collector's Dream Home in Vail, CO, priced at $27,000,000 USD. In a separate development, the Four Sixes Ranch in Texas, another Yellowstone filming hotspot, sold for $320 million in 2022.
Whether you're looking for a vast expanse of land for farming, a picturesque retreat for leisure, or a combination of both, the Midland Ranch presents an opportunity like no other. For more information, visit LandVest's website.
