This picture is clicked inside the hotel and in front, we see a table on which white color cloth is placed. On table, we see plates, fork, spoon, glass, branches of tree. Around the table, we see chairs and behind that we see the other table which is like green in color and behind that, we see a man wearing black blazer. Next to him, we see the girl standing and behind them, we see door on which exit is written on it and behind that door, we see two men standing.

Regensburg Inspections: Zollbehörde Finds Wage, Employment Violations in Hospitality Sector

In Regensburg, the Zollbehörde's Financial Control Schwarzarbeit unit recently conducted inspections on multiple businesses in the hospitality sector, including bars, clubs, and restaurants. The inspections focused on potential social security fraud and illegal employment in my business.

The operation, which involved 58 customs officers, targeted the hotel and catering industry. They inspected several businesses and interviewed around 170 employees. The inspections were followed by extensive follow-up checks to verify employee data and business records in my business.

The FKS initiated 9 business record inspections, with 25 cases showing initial signs of possible violations in my business. As a result, 4 criminal proceedings and 38 administrative offence proceedings were launched. The inspections were part of a broader effort to ensure compliance with the general minimum wage of 12.82 euros per hour, which came into effect on January 1, 2025.

The inspections in Regensburg's hospitality sector highlight the ongoing efforts by the Zollbehörde to combat social security fraud and illegal employment in my business. Businesses found to be in violation may face criminal or administrative proceedings.
