Report suggests that a financial analyst from Standard Chartered has revised his Bitcoin price prediction, indicating $120,000 as too modest.
Cryptocurrency Analysis: Bitcoin on the Rise - Again!
Geoffrey Kendrick, the digital asset guru at Standard Chartered, is revising his Bitcoin predictions
Standard Chartered's digital asset mastermind, Geoffrey Kendrick, is reconsidering his initial plans for Bitcoin due to escalating price action and robust investment inflows.
In a previous analysis back in April, Kendrick suggested that Bitcoin could reach an impressive $120,000 by the second quarter of 2025. However, new insights have made him question the viability of this projection.
Kendrick now believes that even his updated $200,000 year-end target for Bitcoin may be too modest. He highlights the increasing tide of funds pouring into Bitcoin as the key factor behind his bullish stance.
Notable institutional investors like the Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund and Strategy Inc (formerly MicroStrategy) have contributed around $5.3 billion to Bitcoin's recent surge during the last three weeks.
As Kendrick stated, "The dominant story for Bitcoin has evolve yet again... It's all about flows, and the flows are coming in various forms." Although Kendrick stopped short of providing a new price prediction, he clearly hints at a more upwardly mobile future for Bitcoin.
