Restrictions implemented for parking in Berchinale area
The town of Berching is gearing up for the Berchinale event, which will take place in the city centre on Friday, 19th and Saturday, 20th of the month. The event, organised mainly by the Pfarrverband Berching (Parish Association Berching), will feature choral music within the framework of the Berchinale at the Lorenzkirche Berching.
According to a press release issued by the city, traffic measures will be in place for the duration of the event. However, no specific details about these measures have been provided. It is also unclear if any permits will be valid in the city centre during the second day of the event.
Residents are advised to use parking spaces outside the city centre on both days of the event, as no parking permits will be valid in the city centre during the event period. The press release does not specify which streets will be affected by parking bans, but it does mention that Pettenkofer and Reichenau Platz will have parking bans in effect from Thursday 2pm to 8pm, and Friday 8am to Saturday 11:59pm.
Furthermore, the press release does not provide any information about potential disruptions to public transportation during the event or any special events or performances scheduled for the second day of the Berchinale.
Residents are reminded to plan their travel accordingly and to be mindful of the traffic measures and parking restrictions in place for the Berchinale event.
