Road Closure Ahead: Prepare for a Blockage on a Significant State Highway
News Article: Road Closure on State Road L281 Between Woldegk and Oertzenhof
Starting from Monday, September 8, 2025, a significant maintenance project will take place on State Road L281 between the towns of Woldegk and Oertzenhof. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of October 2025.
Road Closure Details
The section of the road that will be closed to through traffic includes a 200-meter stretch just before the Pasenow junction, which requires complete renovation due to insufficient bearing capacity. A culvert on the L281 will also be renovated during the closure.
Detour Route
During the closure, a detour will be signposted via Strasburg (B104) and Friedland (L282). Motorists are advised to follow road signs or use GPS navigation to navigate the detour.
Works Schedule
The closure will occur in two sections: Pasenow junction - Oertzenhof and Pasenow junction - Woldegk. Initially, the section from Woldegk to Pasenow junction will remain accessible to residents for the first two weeks. After the full closure, the remaining work on the stretch will be carried out under half-lane traffic management using traffic lights.
Cost Details
The construction project, estimated at around 1.5 million euros, will be carried out by the RASK Brandenburg GmbH company from Hoppegarten. Affected residents will be informed in good time by the construction company by post.
Renovation Techniques
The renovation of the existing depression will be carried out as a "floating foundation" using expanded clay aggregate. The remaining works include creating the embankment, applying road markings, and adjusting existing accesses.
Accessibility
Accessibility of properties in the construction area will be largely ensured. Occasional adjustments will be made in the construction area.
