Romania's logistics system is expanding with the addition of a new warehouse at CTPark Brasov West, courtesy of Raben.
Raben Logistics Romania is strengthening its logistics network in Romania with the opening of a new 1,800 square meter warehouse at CTPark Brasov West. This move marks Raben's tenth warehouse in Romania and brings its total leased space within CTParks to 15,000 square meters.
The newly added facility will serve as a hub for cross-docking, contract logistics, co-packing, and last-mile deliveries to retailers in the Brasov region. This expansion underscores Brasov's growing importance as a logistics and production hub in central Romania.
CTP, the developer and manager of CTPark Brasov West, is planning to build two new buildings totaling 10,000 square meters at the park to meet the needs of logistics and light industrial clients. George Clipa, Domestic Road Network Manager at Raben Logistics Romania, stated that the collaboration with CTP provides certified infrastructure for faster delivery to Transylvanian customers.
The new warehouse's role is essential within Raben's national groupage network and in seamlessly connecting Brasov with countries like Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, and broader Europe. Raben currently leases 261,000 square meters across six countries in Central and Eastern Europe, including Poland and the Czech Republic.
The CTPark Brasov West, located some 15 minutes from Brasov, offers direct access to key transport routes like E68, E60 corridors, the future A3 motorway, and Brasov-Ghimbav International Airport. The new warehouse is a strategic addition to Raben's existing sites in Sibiu, Bucharest, Roman, and Buzău.
The new warehouse will help Raben to deliver in a predictable and efficient way, enhancing its national logistics network through daily connection with other sites. This expansion plan underscores the ongoing partnership between Raben and CTP, as Raben continues its regional growth in partnership with CTP.
