Sparkasse Bamberg Expands Board to Boost Private Customer Business
Sparkasse Bamberg, a prominent financial institution in Upper Franconia with approximately 680 employees and 28 business locations, is expanding its board of directors. The 200-year-old institution, celebrating its bicentennial in 2025, is seeking a third board member to focus on private customer business.
The new board member will oversee private customer business, strategic alignment, sales potential utilization, employee development, and regional representation. Applications are open until October 24, 2025, to be sent to Egon Zehnder at [email protected].
Candidates should possess a successful university degree or comparable banking industry degree, deep understanding of private customer needs, entrepreneurial thinking, high social competence, integrity, team-oriented leadership, and business management qualification according to §25c KWG. With a market share of 44 percent in the private customer segment and 48 percent in the corporate customer segment, Sparkasse Bamberg seeks a strong leader to further solidify its position.
Sparkasse Bamberg, with an asset base of around 5 billion euros, is committed to enhancing its private customer business.
