Staffing company Adecco has appointed Tig Gilliam as Country Manager for the United States and Canada, while Ray Roe takes on the role of Country Manager for Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia.
Adecco Appoints Tig Gilliam as Country Manager for US & Canada
In a significant move, staffing solutions provider Adecco has appointed Tig Gilliam as the Country Manager for its US & Canada operations, effective from March 1, 2007.
Tig Gilliam, with a rich experience of 42 years under his belt, joins Adecco from IBM Global Business Services, where he served as the global head of Supply Chain Management Services. Prior to his tenure at IBM, Gilliam spent 15 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the US.
The appointment of Tig Gilliam is a testament to Adecco's commitment to strengthening its leadership team. Dieter Scheiff, the group CEO of Adecco, expressed his pleasure at the appointment, stating, "Tig's extensive experience and expertise will be a valuable asset to our team as we continue to grow and expand our business in North America."
Ray Roe, who has over 13 years of experience within Adecco's group businesses, is being thanked for his efforts in stabilizing the North American operations. Roe, who has led Adecco's North American operations since 2004, is being moved to a new role as Country Manager for Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia, effective in an unspecified future date.

Both Tig Gilliam and Ray Roe will report directly to Dieter Scheiff, the group CEO of Adecco. Ray Roe assumed control of Adecco's group operations in Asia Pacific in 1998, before leading the North American operations since 2004.
