Street segment on Akane Sery will be shut down in Almaty

This weekend, residents and guests of Almaty, Kazakhstan, should be aware of several traffic restrictions and road closures due to ongoing heat network reconstruction and maintenance works.

From 8:00 on July 16, the traffic flow on Serikbayev Prospect will be affected. The section from Al-Farabi Prospect to Khodzhanov Street will be completely closed until 6:00 on July 18. The following day, from 8:00 on July 18 to 6:00 on July 19, the section from Khodzhanov Street to Utepov Street will also be closed.

Akan Serik Street will also experience temporary traffic restrictions. The affected section is from Kotelnikova Street to Seyfullin Prospect. The restrictions on Akan Serik Street have been extended beyond July 18, and the traffic closure will continue as previously stated.

Additionally, the intersection of Baiturlynov and Bukhar Zhyrau Streets will be closed from 23:00 on July 16 to 07:00 on July 21. From 8:00 on July 19 to 6:00 on July 20, traffic will be restricted on the stretch from Utepov Street to Timiryazev Street on Serikbayev Prospect. However, the section from Utepov Street to Timiryazev Street on Serikbayev Prospect is not affected by the closures.

Residents and guests of the city are advised to plan their routes in advance and consider possible inconveniences. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, it is best to check local news sources or official city announcements.

It's important to note that the traffic restrictions do not affect the section from Al-Farabi Prospect to Khodzhanov Street on Serikbayev Prospect, and the section from Utepov Street to Timiryazev Street on Serikbayev Prospect is not affected by the closures.
