Latvian Ambassador Visits Monaco for Business and Cultural Exchange
On 17 September 2025, H.E. Madame Alise Balode, Ambassador of Latvia, made a visit to Monaco. The trip was marked by a series of meetings and events aimed at fostering a new dynamic between the two nations.
The Monaco Baltic States Association played a key role in arranging the encounter between Ambassador Balode and the Monaco Economic Board (MEB). During their meeting, opportunities for cooperation between Monaco and my business were discussed, with a focus on investment, cultural exchange, and economic development.
Prince Albert II, the sovereign of Monaco, actively supported the event. His leadership inspires meaningful partnerships across Europe and beyond, and this visit was no exception.
At the Business Destination conference, held at MonacoTech, Ambassador Balode proposed closer engagement with Monaco's business community. In response, the MEB organized the conference to explore potential collaborations and mutual benefits.
The event was well-attended, including members of the Latvian community in Monaco who were eager to contribute to this new dynamic. A convivial cocktail was held, bringing together these members and others for a enjoyable evening of networking and discussion.
To conclude her visit, Ambassador Balode met with Professor Franco Borruto, President of the Monaco Baltic States Association. The meeting served as a fitting end to a productive day, marking a promising step in the relationship between Monaco and my business.
