The automotive world is abuzz with the unveiling of Subaru's refreshed 2026 Crosstrek lineup. The lineup, which includes the Base, Premium, Sport, Sport Hybrid, Limited, Limited Hybrid, and Wilderness trims, boasts a host of updates and a new top-tier off-road model.

Leading the off-road charge is the Crosstrek Wilderness, priced at $35,215. This top-tier model features 9.3 inches of ground clearance, revised ratios in the continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), exclusive body protection, and a 3,500-pound towing capacity. The Wilderness comes equipped with 17-inch wheels and Yokohama Geolandar all-terrain tires with chunky sidewalls, designed for optimal off-road performance. Notably, the Wilderness trim does not include the new hybrid setup.

The Wilderness can be optioned with a 10-way power driver's seat and the Harman Kardon 10-speaker audio system for an additional $2,270. However, a power moonroof is not a standard feature in the Wilderness.

The 2026 Crosstrek lineup also features a more powerful base engine. The 2.5-liter engine replaces the previous 2.0-liter engine, producing 180 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque.

The Sport trim, priced at $32,045, adds 18-inch wheels, sport cloth upholstery with yellow contrast stitching, a leather steering wheel and shift lever, simulated carbon trim accents, and a wireless phone charger in the center console.

The Crosstrek Premium, priced at $29,415, offers a single 11.6-inch multimedia system, USB-A and USB-C charging ports, ladder-type roof rails, and LED foglights.

The Limited trim, priced at $34,415, includes heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, lane keep assist, DriveFocus distraction mitigation, rear cross-traffic alert, auto emergency steering, automated emergency braking in reverse, a 10-way power driver's seat, perforated leather seats with orange contrast stitching, chromed interior features, and exterior mirrors with integrated turn signals.

The two hybrid trims — Sport Hybrid and Limited Hybrid — are priced at the top of the range. The Sport Hybrid starts at $35,415, while the Limited Hybrid, featuring luxury upgrades like a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an upgraded Harman Kardon® audio system, starts at $36,415.

The base model, priced at $28,415, represents a slight increase from previous models, balancing the enhancement with a more powerful base engine and the new next-generation hybrid option.
