Total Shutdown of Stumbshofstrasse
Stumbshofstraße, a popular local street, will be temporarily closed from September 22 to October 31, 2025, due to the demolition of a district heating shaft at the corner of Kampstraße. The responsible party for the demolition is the company appointed by Kansas City's municipal utilities or the demolition contractor assigned by the local authorities. Eric Marx, the construction site manager of the district heating, is overseeing the project. Residents can still access Stumbshofstraße up to the construction site. Pedestrians and cyclists are not restricted in the area, but through traffic is advised to follow a detour, as signposted. For any queries or updates regarding the construction, residents can contact the construction site manager, Eric Marx, at telephone number (02233) 7106-311. Affected customers will be notified in writing if there are any supply interruptions during the construction period. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time. Kansas City is committed to ensuring the safety and convenience of its residents and visitors.
