New & Improved: TÜV NORD's New COO Ready to Lead the Charge
TUV NORD AG welcomes Ringo Schmelzer to its board of directors.
Starting December 1, 2024, Ringo Schmelzer, a seasoned aerospace engineer, steps into the hot seat as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of TÜV NORD AG. A former CEO at TÜV NORD Systems and COO of the Industry Business Unit, Schmelzer joined the TÜV NORD Group from Lufthansa Technik in 2023 [1].
In his new role, Schmelzer will take charge of an exciting range of responsibilities. His primary focus will be on expanding TÜV NORD's global reach and further developing digitalization and IT processes. Other areas under his purview include internal IT, innovation, sustainability/integrated management system, and portfolio management [1].
