XPT Specialty Makes New Employment Announcements: Adds Three New Team Members

XPT Specialty, a prominent wholesale broker for commercial and personal insurance, is expanding its footprint in the Southeast with the opening of new offices in Tampa and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This strategic move is designed to strengthen the company's presence and capabilities in the region, particularly in the fast-paced Florida market.

Steve Kass, Executive Partner at XPT Specialty, emphasised the importance of having a local presence in the competitive Florida market. He stated that the new hires - Tonya Krick, Ryan Anderson, and Grant Tomczak - are responsive, sharp, and already trusted by local agents.

Tonya Krick, Executive Vice President in Tampa, brings nearly two decades of property and casualty experience and is known for her ability to navigate complex commercial property placements. Ryan Anderson, Vice President in Fort Lauderdale, is a technically proficient leader in commercial underwriting, with industry credentials including MSRI and CPCU. Grant Tomczak, Senior Underwriter in Fort Lauderdale, has developed a keen eye for hard-to-place risks and is recognised for strong client service and attention to detail.

The new hires' deep local expertise and knowledge of excess and surplus lines aligns with XPT Specialty’s emphasis on providing specialized wholesale insurance brokerage services. Their understanding of the Florida market and connections within the region enable XPT Specialty to better address the needs of regional clients and capitalise on growth opportunities.

In addition to the new offices in Florida, XPT Specialty has also opened a new office in Buffalo, New York, staffed with three experienced brokers: Audrey Manzella and Amy (no last name provided). The company's expansion across the eastern U.S. aims to strengthen its environmental, energy, workers' compensation, and other specialty insurance practices, with Florida as a key growth area.

The investment from B.P. Marsh and Partners Plc, structured via a purchase of existing equity and an additional loan, further supports XPT Specialty's growth strategy. The company's strategic expansion is expected to enhance its speed to market and improve its ability to serve complex commercial and personal insurance needs in this dynamic market.
