Yoon & Yang Appoints Park Jin-kyu, Former Trade Minister, as Legal Adviser
Yoon & Yang, a prominent South Korean law firm, has appointed Park Jin-kyu as its legal adviser. Park, a seasoned expert in industrial and trade policies, previously served as First Vice Minister at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
Park brings a wealth of experience to Yoon & Yang, having spent 31 years in roles related to industrial, energy, and trade policies, international trade, and foreign investment. Notably, he played a pivotal role in developing and implementing the Korean New Deal and Carbon Neutrality Strategy.
During his tenure, Park promoted strategic industries such as semiconductors, secondary batteries, and biotechnology. His appointment is expected to bolster Yoon & Yang's expertise in the energy and trade sectors.
As of June 2025, Park holds no listed position in the current government under President Lee Jae-myung. Despite this, his extensive background and accomplishments make him a valuable addition to Yoon & Yang. The law firm anticipates that Park's insights will significantly contribute to its clients in the energy and trade sectors.
