Zurich-Based HR Giant Appoints Hans Ploos van Amstel as New CFO
The world's leading HR solutions provider, based in Zurich, has appointed Hans Ploos van Amstel as its new Chief Financial Officer. With 26 years of global experience across diverse industries, Ploos van Amstel will join the group on September 1, 2015, focusing on its industry-leading profitability and growth.
Ploos van Amstel began his career at Procter & Gamble in 1989. He has since held prominent roles in retail and fast-moving consumer goods businesses. Notably, he served as CFO of COFRA Group from 2009 to 2013 and co-CEO of C&A Europe until 2015. Prior to these roles, he was Group CFO of Levi Strauss & Co. from 2005 to 2009. Most recently, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Royal FrieslandCampina.
Alain Dehaze, the group's CEO Designate, expressed delight at Ploos van Amstel's appointment. 'His strong track record and extensive experience make him an excellent fit for our team,' Dehaze said.
